Transforming lives, one step at a time
We are committed to creating meaningful impact through our wide range of programs. Whether it’s providing education, healthcare, or emergency relief, we work relentlessly to uplift those in need. Our efforts are driven by a deep belief in the potential of every individual and the power of the community to overcome challenges and build a brighter tomorrow.
Children's Home
For those children who do not have anywhere else a family to live with, we gladly become their family. We have family-style houses, each with a dedicated caretaker who lives and works with us 24/7. These mothers love the children under their care like their own. Through their love and care, the children grow up knowing who they are and can overcome their past traumas. They learn early how to take responsibility in the household, support each other, and become later, as older siblings, support to the younger children.
Rescue Center
Every week, we receive children who have experienced the worst situations thinkable. Authorities bring them to us since they know we receive them with open arms and a heart to restore their dignity and purpose. In the protected environment of the Rescue Center, our caretakers, social workers, counselors, and medical staff help them to overcome their physical and psychological traumas. Such a rehabilitation process may take up to three months before the child may be ready to be placed in a family or our children’s home. From day one, a team of dedicated social workers tries to find family members who can support the child.
Junior School
We believe that education is a key lever for children to change their life’s trajectory. Providing an academically strong foundation, rooted in values that make children strong in good and bad times, is a privilege. Good Future and Hope Nursery and Primary School has currently approx. 300 children who study with us, out of which many live with us in our school boarding facilities. Our motivated team of teachers, matrons, cooks, and support staff is amazing, and we are very thankful for them.
Development and Self-Sustainability Projects
Decreasing our dependency on foreign donations and sponsorships has always been our focus. This is why our founders have, over time, purchased and donated more than 20 hectares of land to the organization, so that self-sustainability projects like forestry and farming, which includes keeping livestock, are today a reasonable source of income or at least contribute to significant improvement of food variety for the children and staff under our care. In the same way, new construction developments or improvements of our current facilities contribute greatly to accomplishing our vision to rescue, reintegrate, raise, and educate children and develop communities. Through our dedicated staff on the ground and international volunteers, we continuously seek projects that have the potential to contribute to a greater self-sustainability of the organization.
