Charles

Charles and his brother Ivan were identified as children in need of care and protection after their case became a national concern in Uganda. The story was shared widely, including on social media platforms and national newspapers, highlighting their vulnerable situation.

Since June 14, 2022, Charles and his brother Ivan have been under the care of Good Future and Hope Children’s Home. Efforts were made by the home to ensure their safety, education, and emotional well-being. Good Future and Hope also assisted in reuniting the children with their father by employing him so that he could remain close to them and provide support.

Charles is currently enrolled at Good Future and Hope Junior School where he is pursuing his education and developing his academic potential.

Regular family visits have been facilitated, focusing on strengthening the bond between Charles, his brother, and their father to ensure a secure and nurturing environment for the children.
