Ketrah
Ketrah is a bright, courageous, and resilient young girl who has faced unimaginable challenges in her short life. In June 2022, her world was turned upside down when she was abandoned by her biological mother at Mayangayanga trading center. Alone and vulnerable, Ketrah was found by a kind stranger who temporarily cared for her before reaching out to local authorities for help.
Efforts to trace her family eventually led to a reunion with relatives in Buwembo village, Wakiso district. Her relatives welcomed her with open arms, deeply committed to loving and nurturing her despite the heartbreak of her abandonment. However, their limited financial resources make it impossible for them to provide Ketrah with the education she so desperately deserves.
Determined to ensure she has the opportunities every child deserves, Ketrah was enrolled in Good Future and Hope Junior School. This program offers stability, care, and the chance for children like her to build a brighter future. Ketrah is a passionate learner with an unyielding determination to succeed. She dreams of a life filled with possibilities, fueled by her belief that education is her path to a better tomorrow.
Ketrah is in need of a dedicated sponsor to support her educational journey, including school fees, learning materials, and other essentials. Sponsorship would not only ensure that she continues to receive quality education but also nurture her emotional and personal growth, empowering her to thrive in all aspects of her life.
By sponsoring Ketrah, you are not only giving her the tools to achieve her dreams and break the cycle of poverty, but you are also providing a lifeline to her extended family. Her relatives have shown remarkable love and strength by stepping in to raise her with care and devotion, despite their limited means. Your support will enable them to provide her with the stability and love she needs to heal and flourish.
We can give Ketrah more than just a chance to succeed. We can show her that she is not defined by her past but by the love and opportunities she receives now. Your sponsorship is more than an investment in her education—it’s a testament to the power of family, community, and hope.
